Truffle bbq sauce

The unmistakable smoky flavour of BBQ sauce is enhanced by the addition of Sacchi Tartufi summer truffle. It is perfect with barbecues, burgers and finger food.

Ingredients

Tomato puree (Origin: Italy), sugar syrup, white wine vinegar (wine, antioxidant: POTASSIUM METABISULPHITE), button mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus), sugar cane molasses, Worcestershire sauce (malt vinegar (BARLEY), spirit vinegar, molasses, sugar, salt, anchovies (FISH), tamarind extract, onions, garlic, spices, flavorings), salt, summer truffle (Tuber aestivum, Vittad.) 1.5% (Origin: EU), thickener: xanthan gum, onion, garlic, liquid smoke, aroma, chili pepper.


Storage

Store at room temperature away from light and heat sources. Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and heat. After opening: in the fridge between 0-4°.


Shelf life

36 months.


Instructions for use

Shake the bottle before use to ensure an even distribution of the aroma. For best results, serve the sauce at room temperature.


Recipes

Fried chicken with SACCHI BBQ truffle sauce

Serves 4

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • Spices
  • Sunflower seed oil
  • 3 tablespoons SACCHI BBQ truffle sauce

Method

Cut the chicken into cubes and place them in a bowl with three tablespoons of SACCHI barbecue truffle sauce. Leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. Make the breading with breadcrumbs and spices to taste, such as thyme, rosemary, black pepper, oregano and marjoram. Once rested, coat the chicken cubes in the breadcrumb mixture. Fry the bites in sunflower seed oil at 180°C or bake in the oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Serve the fried bites with SACCHI barbecue truffle sauce.
