The Summer Black Truffle (Tuber Aestivum Vittad) undergoes a drying process to remove moisture and extend its shelf life. Before using, it is recommended to soak the truffle in hot water or broth for a few minutes, allowing its intense aromas to awaken. This precious ingredient is ideal for enriching main courses like risottos or for adding a touch of refinement to omelettes.

Ingredients

Dried summer truffle (Tuber aestivum Vittad.).


Instructions for use

Place the dried truffles in a bowl and cover them with warm (not boiling) water. Let them soak for about 20-30 minutes until softened. Once rehydrated, add them to pasta, risottos, eggs, meat, and fish dishes.

Store at room temperature away from light and heat sources.
