The butter and truffle from Sacchi Tartufi is a delicacy with a delicate flavor, where the prized bianchetto truffle imparts an unparalleled and exclusive harmony. It is an exquisite condiment for spreading, dressing pasta and rice, or cooking meat, eggs, or tapas. It is recommended not to overheat it to preserve the truffle aroma intact.

Ingredients

Clarified butter, bianchetto truffle (Tuber borchii, Vittad.), salt, Grana Padano cheese, flavoring.


Instructions for use

After opening, store in the refrigerator. To make it easier to spread, leave it out of the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes before use. A small amount is enough to flavor dishes. Generally, one tablespoon per serving is sufficient.


Storage

Store at room temperature away from light and heat sources. Once opened: store in the fridge between 0 and 4°, consume within 4-5 days.

Recipes

Crispy potatoes with SACCHI truffle butter and rosemary

Serves 2

  • 300 g of small potatoes
  • 30 g of SACCHI butter and truffle
  • Dried rosemary
  • Extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste

Method

Wash the potatoes thoroughly, leaving the skin on if preferred. Cut them in half if small or into 4-6 pieces if large. Boil them in salted water for 7 minutes, then drain and let them cool. Heat a non-stick pan and melt SACCHI truffle butter with a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil and rosemary. Once the potatoes have cooled, finish cooking them by browning them in the pan until golden. If needed, place them under the grill in the oven for 5 minutes to achieve extra crispiness. Enjoy!
