Recipes

Honey and white truffle biscuits

Ingredients for 40/50 biscuits

  • 100g butter
  • 50g of truffle honey SACCHI
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 150g sugar
  • 5g baking powder
  • 350g of "00" flour

Method

To prepare the honey cookies, start by placing 300 g of flour in a large bowl (or on a work surface) in a mound, keeping the remaining 50 g of flour aside to adjust later if needed. Add the sugar, butter, honey, and SACCHI truffle, the two eggs, the spices, and the baking powder. Knead the ingredients well until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous dough. If the dough is too soft, add the flour set aside earlier, up to a maximum of 50 g.

Wrap the dough in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour. After the necessary resting time, roll out the dough on a work surface to a thickness of about ½ cm. Using various shaped cookie cutters, cut out different shapes from the dough, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving 2-3 cm of space between each. Bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes (or until the edges of the cookies begin to color slightly). Enjoy!
